1958 - LiuGong incorporated.
1960 - Manufactured its first construction machine- the 80 horsepower bulldozer.
1966 - Manufactured its modern Wheel Loader, Z435 - the very first one to pass expert appraisal in China.
1971 - Developed Z450 articulated wheeled Loader, which standardized the 5 ton loader in China.
1976 - Developed, innovated & conceptualized the 9 ton wheel loader, ZL90, the largest loader of the time in China.
1989 - Developed, innovated & conceptualized the 10 ton wheel loader, ZL100C, the largest loader of the time in China.
1987 to 1995 - Co-operated with Caterpillar's technology and developed its loader ZL100B.
1995 - Co-operated with ZF, Germany to manufacture transmission, Axle etc. Started joint venture company LZZF for manufacturing transmission components.
- Introduced new products like Hydraulic excavators, Motor graders, rollers etc.
1998 - Developed a new generation of Wheel Loaders (the G series)
1999 - Launched the world's first wheel loader ZLG50G specially designed for operating in the tablelands.
2002 – Ventured in India through dealer association.
2003 - The new generation G series Wheel Loaders won second prize in National Science & Technology Progress Award.
2004 – Achieved feather of being the second largest manufacturer of wheel loaders in the world
2006 - The total number of Wheel Loaders manufactured and sold exceeded 100,000.
2007 - The annual sales volume of LiuGong Loader exceeded 27,000 units.
- Established its subsidiary in India (LiuGong India)
2008 – Celebrated 50 years of its development & growth.
- Foundation stone for LiuGong India plant in Pithampur, Near Indore.
2009 - Inaugurated its “State of Art” manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Near Indore.
- LiuGong products population in India has exceeded 1000 nos.
- Wheel Loaders manufactured and sold exceeded 200,000.
